How it works
Pitch your friend
Tell us about your friend in your own words: what makes them great, what they're looking for, even their lovable flaws. You know them best, so your pitch is worth more than any profile they'd write themselves.
Share your invite link
You get a private link made just for your friend. Send it to them however you normally talk. When they join, the first thing they see is what you wrote about them.
They date, you earn
When your friend goes on their first date arranged through Lamu, you earn $15. They find someone great, you get paid. Win-win.
The deal, plainly
You earn $15 per friend, once per friend, when their first date through Lamu is confirmed.
There's no limit on how many friends you can pitch.
Lamu never contacts your friend. You deliver the invite link yourself.
Your friend sees your pitch when they join, so write something you'd be happy for them to read.

Can I earn money on Lamu?
Yes. Pitch a friend who's single, and when they go on their first date arranged through Lamu, you earn $15. There's no limit on how many friends you can pitch.
Do I need to be single to use this?
Not at all. Plenty of people on Lamu are here just to set up someone they love. Whether you're dating on Lamu yourself or happily coupled, you can pitch a friend.
Why would my pitch matter?
Because you know your friend the best. A pitch from a friend tells us things a dating profile never could, and your friend gets to see the sweet things you wrote about them when they join.
What's in it for me?
$15 for every friend who goes on a first date through Lamu, plus the eternal bragging rights of having set them up. They win, you win.
When do I get paid?
Once your friend goes on their first date through Lamu. You'll see the status of every friend you've pitched in the app, including what you've earned.
Will Lamu contact my friend?
Never. You get a private invite link and you share it with them yourself, however you normally talk.
